{TMC Workshop} First Time Parents: What to Know Before Giving Birth

I wish there is an ultimate manual or a guidebook that will tell you what to expect when you are about to give birth. Although there are tons of books and Internet sources about it, every experience is different. I should know because after giving birth twice, my experience for both my kids are different. And yes, the second time is much easier.

To be honest, I know nothing about pregnancy and giving birth. Heck, I wasn’t even prepared for it. So when my OB required us to attend a Childbirth class, I hurriedly searched the World Wide Web to find out if that even exists in the Philippines. Thankfully, it does. (read about my childbirth class experience here).

Anyway, you don’t have to attend four consecutive Sundays just to know what to expect when D-day comes. The good news is Manila Workshops launched its First Time Parents series this year starting with What to Know Before Giving Birth.

Workshop Details What-to-Know-Before-Giving-Birth_latestWhat to Know Before Giving Birth is a half-day workshop that aims to help parents, both newbies and experienced ones who are expecting, as you prepare for the big day, aka the delivery. You will learn about what to expect during your visits to OB-GYN, pain management (a must learn!) and even pregnancy nutrition.

Speakers Dra. Patricia Malay Kho, an OB-GYN, and Ms. Cecile Bayaga, a registered nutritionist-dietician, will give you all the information you need before you give birth.

The workshop will be on March 28, 2015, from 1:00opm – 5:00pm at the Best for Families Headquarters, 29 1st St. New Manila, Quezon City. Tickets are worth P350.00 but if you go with your hubby, you only pay P600.00.

Don’t forget to use the Referral Code TMCFTPWGB_1 when you register. This would really make my day.
