TMC Workshop Guide: Breastfeeding and Newborn Care
During our Childbirth Class under Rome Kanapi, I remembered listening to her very well about newborn care and breastfeeding. As a new momma at that time, I had no idea how to bath the baby, change clothes or even carry it.
The good news is you don’t have to go through the same worries like mine because there are workshops geared towards new and soon-to-be parents. As part of the First Time Parent series, Manila Workshops, Best for Families and co-sponsored by Stemcord brings you Breastfeeding and Newborn Care. What to expect in the workshop
I’m sure all mommas will agree with me when I say this: we are faced with challenges when it comes to how to handle our kids. Things get better when Baby Number Two comes but for now, being a first-time parent could be overwhelming. More so when it comes to breastfeeding.
In this workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about newborn care – from changing clothes to diaper care to to carrying and even giving your little one a bath. If breastfeeding is something you are also worried of, then the speakers, Ms. Joyce Martinez and Dr. Jamie Isip-Cumpas, both lactation consultants, will supply you the necessary information when it comes to breastfeeding.
April 11, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Best for Families Headquarters, 29 1st Street, New Manila, Quezon City. Regular rate is P350.00 per person but if you attend with your hubby, you will only pay P600.00 for you both.
