I dread Math. When I was younger, I don’t understand why I need to find x and y, and solve for big numbers when there’s a calculator that could give answers to any mathematical problems. Still, I did my best to learn and understand the problem in front of me.

Apparently, my first-grader is having the same issues with Math. Well, she’s not really failing, but I can sense the struggle in her. Yes, she can add and subtract big numbers. Still, there are instances when she’s not getting the answer correctly, maybe due to time pressure or carelessness in adding or subtracting numbers.

Still, I believe practice makes perfect when it comes to numbers. I always give her addition and subtraction problems so she could master the concepts. Plus, she’ll need this as she gets older, so I better make sure that she can do it properly.

This leads me to a surprise to readers. I am happy to share this two-digit addition worksheet, which you can download for free.
